I have been training with Vincent since late December 2006 and am nearing the end of my first twenty (20) sessions with him. I have seen a dramatic difference in my strength and tone. On a more personal level, Vincent is upbeat and keeps me motivated (even when he is making me work hard). He knows that I get bored with the same routine easily and thus, he has created a number of different workouts to keep me interested. He has a good sense of humor and is very positive, which I find to be very helpful when I am tired and do not want to push myself.

Due to back and shoulder injuries, I have been wary of certain exercise routines and instructors. Vincent has been patient, compassionate and respectful. Vincent is highly qualified, educated, experienced and accountable. 
 
He has provided excellent exercises for me to do on my own, as well as nutrition counseling.  He has even introduced me to the gym and weight room in a gentle, non-threatening manner.

​About ten years ago I began to exercise regularly with a trainer to help me focus on a healthy lifestyle and quality fitness training. During this time, I had the opportunity to work with many trained experts, but six months ago I was introduced to Vincent Dove.

In just two sessions I came to realize that I was working with the ultimate professional. Vincent’s charismatic personality and warmth quickly engages his clients and helped me to exceed my expectations for myself in the gym. His watchful eye never wavers; Vincent’s first priority for his clients is a handsome trio: safety, form and technique.

The slightest adjustment necessary to achieve the optimal benefit is always Vincent’s priority. His expertise in exercise physiology, nutrition, yoga, Pilates, stretching and meditation allows him to implement multiple strategies for his clients. Cardio workouts are always a combined, complex combination of movements and functional training methods to improve overall balance and to involve several muscle groups as Vincent works on the flexibility and strength.

Due to the varied methods and routines, I remain interested and engaged in every workout. In fact, I look forward to every session because I know that I’m going to leave the gym with renewed energy. The stretching sessions at the end of each session are very beneficial, and Vincent’s overall kindness, soft-spoken manner and watchful eye make every session a quality workout, and a distinct pleasure!

In addition to Vincent’s performance in the gym, he is the type of trainer who communicates with clients outside of the gym as well. Vincent is so adept at sending helpful texts about healthy eating habits, stretching and additional exercises to implement at home. His style motivates his clients to create target goals, to meet those goals on a timely basis, and to live life with a healthy attitude.

I find him to be my motivator; as a result I became determined to be persistent and diligent in my efforts in the gym and at home. Vincent’s sense of responsibility, his passion for helping others to live healthfully, his teaching style, and his dedication to excellence are invaluable to any individual who desires a fitness program.

I have always been focused on fitness, but since being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis over 20 years ago, I have found it difficult to find a fitness instructor who was able to “work around” my inability to perform certain exercises especially with weights. Most would get very frustrated, which in turn would lead to my getting frustrated and then giving up.

Vincent is the only instructor I’ve ever worked with who knows how to work the muscles that I need to strengthen in order to maintain a healthy fitness level. If an exercise is too taxing on certain joints of my body, he figures out an alternative to achieve the necessary results every time! He is also extremely passionate about his work, which in addition to strength training includes meditation and nutrition.

He goes the extra distance by keeping in touch to reassure, praise and remind his clients about important issues that motivate them to remember what he has taught. Vincent is truly the best fitness instructor I’ve ever had, and I would highly recommend him to anyone regardless of their age or fitness abilities!

I have been exercising for the past 25 years, generally with a trainer. When I hired one, I always had better consistency and results. During that time, I’ve probably used 10 different trainers. Each was very good - but none compared to Vince.

I started with Vince about 5 months ago and it was the best decision I’ve made regarding my health. We talked and examined my current state of health and body condition and discussed what changes I would like to make. We set realistic goals and charted my progress. It became clear to me that Vince had a much higher skill set than the trainers I had used in the past. His knowledge about exercise and nutrition was solid, not just information from the latest issue of Men’s Health.

Our workouts were varied and each had purpose. Sometimes we focused on building muscle and sometimes on flexibility, range-of-motion and balance. The actual exercises varied to keep things fresh and interesting. Vince is a “working” trainer. He constantly watches your movement, offering guidance for even minor adjustments.

He stays fully engaged and provides frequent supportive comments that are very motivating. He supplements our time together with emails providing additional information relevant to our sessions or just to offer another “pat on the back” after a particularly hard workout. Outside of our workouts, Vince introduced me to bicycling.

On his time and with his equipment, we went on several rides. I got hooked and now consider riding a new hobby. Vince even accompanied me to the bike store to help make the right selection. If you are looking for a person with solid credentials, a kind personality and a zest for life, I highly recommend Vincent Dove.

​I don't love exercising. I am thin, so my motivation is not for weight loss.
My best friend who subtly, (not) ..., encourages me to try new activities has resulted in my dabbling in mango trees, orchids, Pilates, yoga, oysters and many more enriching experiences. 

Although this testimonial seems it's for my best friend it brings me to Vince. My best friend 'forced me' to go to Vince. 

I've always been skeptical of personal trainers, having their own agenda, not seeing me as a "whole". NOT Vince - he senses my mood the moment I see him. He incorporates my mind, body and mood. This quality is most important to me.  My session with Vince is not the same every time, from working on breathing to relaxation, to strengthening my core. His flexibility and empathy have enhanced my workout so much that I look forward to it.

​Right from the start I could tell that Vince was a very different kind of trainer. He created an exercise routine according to my goals and needs. Sometimes it was a gentle yoga style session, sometimes a strenuous workout, other times I needed targeted flexibility and body work to help maximize my recovery time.

His private Zen like home studio is immaculately clean and filled with all the right things needed to help with my health and fitness goals.
But its Vince’s calm and reassuring style that is paramount. He helps me with nutritional guidance, encourages me to perform cardio, strength and flexibility exercises on my own. He has offered to teach me the importance of meditation and its techniques providing a true Mind Body Fitness experience.

Many times my best friend Vicki and I go together, sharing our session time since we have similar goals and abilities. Vince has no problem working with the both of us at the same time making the sessions both challenging and fun! I had some knee issues in the past and worked with several trainers to no avail. I almost abandoned the idea of ever using a trainer again. Until my yoga instructor recommended I contact Vincent.  It was the BEST thing I ever did!

​A few weeks ago, a good friend of mine and I decided to hire a personal trainer that would help us change our bodies for the better. We have similar builds, and similar but not exactly the same goals.

From the moment we met Vincent, we knew he was a person that could help us achieve our goals.
We have been very impressed by his passion to help us, his knowledge and his ability to connect with us.
We have been challenged and pushed by him and he has taught us a great deal, yet we can easily tell that personal training is only one of his many abilities and he is also very knowledgeable in yoga, Pilates, meditation, kickboxing, weight loss and overall wellness...everything you would expect from a professional trainer.
